The ISL finalists need the support of their
vociferous fans and have allowed free entry to their friendly for all those in
Yellow, besides launching fan-oriented programs...
Kerala
Blasters are India's most supported Indian Super League (ISL) franchise.
Hailing from the port city of Kochi, the Sachin Tendulkar co-owned team is the
pride and joy of the sea-side state that has produced footballing talent of the
calibre of I M Vijayan and Jo Paul Ancheri.
Now, in a
first of its kind, the ISL finalists from season one have opened the
floodgates for their fans. The Blasters' Facebook page have revealed details of
an upcoming friendly match, which will be played at the Green Field stadium in
the capital Thiruvananthapuram, on the 29th of September, i.e today. That's not
all. The fans who wear Yellow T-shirts for the game will be allowed
free entry to the match.
The good news
doesn't just end there though as, in a separate post, the Blasters have
revealed their intentions of having fans, numbering close to 100 or
more, live commentating all their matches using the popular social media
platform Twitter. The details of the plan are still being fine-tuned and we can
surely expect more fan-oriented programmes from the southern team, who are also
in the midst of promoting their hastags #YellowMeinKhelo and #KeralaLive.
